Field GPS Installation Technician and Inventory Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our company Ascend Capital as a Field GPS Installation Technician and Inventory Manager. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for installing GPS systems in E-rickshaws, managing all GPS-related inventory, establishing connections with dealers and customers, and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to manage inventory effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. GPS Installation and Maintenance:
   • Conduct on-site installations of GPS devices in Erickshaws, following established guidelines and procedures.
   • Ensure proper placement, wiring, and functionality of GPS devices, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during installation.
   • Perform regular maintenance checks and updates to ensure continuous and accurate GPS tracking.
2. Inventory Management:
   • Manage and track inventory of GPS devices, including procurement, storage, and distribution.
   • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring sufficient stock for installation demands.
   • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and manage vendor relationships effectively.
   • Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile stock levels and identify any discrepancies.
3. Dealer and Customer Relations:
   • Establish strong relationships with dealers and customers, serving as the primary point of contact for GPS-related queries and concerns.
   • Coordinate with dealers to schedule installations, provide technical support, and address any issues that may arise.
   • Offer exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving problems, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
   • Provide training and guidance to dealers and customers on the operation and functionality of GPS systems.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
   • Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and inventory transactions.
   • Generate reports on installation activities, inventory status, and customer interactions as required.
   • Collaborate with the management team to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant experience is a plus.
• Proven experience in GPS installation and maintenance.
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various locations as needed.
